[origin: EP1813997A1] The device has a correction mechanism that corrects position of a wheel (40) with reference to the position of a setting wheel and a date displaying disc (24). The mechanism is arranged such that the wheel (40) is moved an extra step during the week in which the wheel (40) occupies a position at which the number 52 is displayed, as the disc (24) is moved during the week from a position at which day 27 of the December month is displayed to a position at which day 28 is displayed.
