[origin: WO2007090382A2] The invention relates to an electric switch (1) for an electric appliance, in particular for an electric tool with a housing (2), such as a drill, grinder, saw, plane, angle grinder or similar. The switch (1) comprises a contact system, which is situated in the housing (2), and electric connections (7) for electric supply lines (8) to the contact system, which run through and/or are located in the housing (2). In addition, the switch (1) can comprise an actuating organ for activating the contact system, the latter co-operating with the actuating organ by means of an elastic element.
