[origin: WO2007090488A1] The invention relates to a shielding device (27) for distributing blocks (20) of a telecommunication device, the distributing blocks (20) comprising terminal strips (21) arranged one above each other or next to each other with function elements (23) for connecting signal-carrying wires of a telecommunication cable. The shielding device (27) also comprises several connecting elements (28) for connecting no signal-carrying shielding wires of the telecommunication cable. The inventive shielding device (27) has a contacting element (29) that provides connecting elements (28) for the shielding wires, said contacting element being accommodated in a support element (30). The support element (30) can be arranged in conjunction with the contacting element (29), which is accommodated in the support element (30), at one side of the distributing block (20).
