[origin: WO2007090489A1] The invention relates to a shielding device for distributing blocks (20) of a telecommunication device, the distributing blocks (20) comprising terminal strips (21) arranged one above each other or next to each other with function elements (22) for connecting signal-carrying wires of a telecommunication cable. The shielding device (26) also comprises several connection elements for connecting non-signal-carrying shielding wires of the telecommunication cable. The inventive shielding device (26) comprises at least one shielding module (27) that comprises a clamping strip (28) providing the connecting elements (28) for the shielding wires, the clamping strip (28) of the or each shielding module (27) being mounted at least sectionwise on an electrically conductive contacting element (29) that places all connecting elements (32) of the clamping strip (28) on the same potential. The or each shielding module (27) can be fixed to one side of the distributing block via a fixing element (30; 41) that acts upon the contacting element (29).
