[origin: EP1982918A2] -Method to form a cover on top of a product (P) by means of a blank-cover (A) comprising back (A-PP), upper (A-PS), front (A-PA) panels, in which the product (P) is translated along a path (P1) of translation, and in which following operations are performed: a) -a blank-cover (A) is placed, in a folded configuration, in a first zone (Z1) in front of and above the product (P); b) -the blank-cover (A) is translated downstream along the path (P1) as soon as the front side of the product (P) comes against the front panel (A-PA) of the blank (A); c) -the back panel (A-PP) of the blank-cover (A) is folded against the back side of the product (P), and also method to form a two-piece package including said cover and a tray.
