Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1983119A1] The tape has lateral surfaces (3, 4) colored with a colorant such that coloring on the surfaces in a partially expanded functional state of the tape in a distance of a viewer from the surfaces appears as a continuous colored surface for a human eye. The tape is made of soft foam and partially reset after compression. The colorant is designed such that uniform resetting of the tape is ensured over a width of the tape after compression, where the colorant is acrylate dispersion, ethylene vinyl-acetate, poly vinyl acetate, polyurethane or silicate, paraffin-based wax, hydrosilicon and silicone. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sealing tape.
