[origin: WO2007093066A1] The invention relates to a method for reconstruction of an X-ray tomogram for generation of a sectional image from raw image data, generated using a polyenergetic radiation source, comprising the following steps: preparation of a fraction model which determines the fraction of at least two materials (Mat. #1... Mat. #3) in an image element as a function of the density (?) of the image element, reconstruction of a first reconstructed sectional image from the raw image data, iterative calculation of further reconstructed sectional images using a statistical optimisation algorithm taking into account the polyenergetic spectrum of the radiation source and using the fraction model.
