[origin: EP1985515A2] The railway carriage (1) has a main chassis, side walls (2) forming a supporting part of the main chassis and a load platform for the road vehicle (5), whereby at least one side wall can be transferred from a driving position into a loading position in which the road vehicle can be driven onto the load platform.
