Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1985945A1] The exchanger (E) has an internal channel (11) and a radial external channel (21) for passing fluid from high and low pressure portions, respectively. An end (E1) of the exchanger is equipped with low pressure and high pressure female connectors (30, 40), which defines two passage ducts (31, 41) for fluid communicating with channels in a sealed manner. The ducts permit symmetric axes (32, 42) with respect to the corresponding channels, so that the connectors are positioned on the exchanger angularly with respect to each other, before soldering and welding the connectors on the exchanger. An independent claim is included for a method for connecting the low and high pressure female connectors to the ends of a coaxial internal heat exchanger.
