[origin: WO2007094637A1] A broadcast receiving apparatus, method of transmitting/receiving broadcast program information, and data structure for transmitting the same are disclosed, by which preview information is included in program information and by which preview information is provided by outputting a still picture by a slideshow. The present invention includes generating preview information including a summarized content of a broadcast program, inserting the preview information into an electronic program guide and transmitting the electronic program guide. And, the present invention includes receiving program information which includes preview information containing summarized contents of a broadcast program, extracting the preview information from the program information and displaying the extracted preview information on a screen in a slideshow format.
