Abstract (en)
The marker has elongated segments having a light module (12) arranged on a carrier module (10). The light module has a transparent plastic material, in which photoluminescence pigments e.g. strontium aluminate, dysprosium oxide and europiumoxide, are mixed. The pigments glow in a dark, and are microscopically encapsulated in another material e.g. plastic material, glass or silicate, which is different from the transparent plastic material, such that liquid and moisture do not come in contact with the pigments.

Fluchtwegmarkierung für einen Passagierraum in einem Flugzeug mit einer Vielzahl von länglichen Segmenten, die hintereinander entlang dem zu markierenden Fluchtweg angeordnet sind, wobei jedes Segment ein Trägermodul und ein Leuchtmodul aufweist, das auf dem Trägermodul angeordnet ist, und das Leuchtmodul ein im wesentlichen transparentes Kunststoffmaterial besitzt, in das photolumineszente Pigmente gemischt sind, die im Dunkeln nachleuchten, wobei die Pigmente in einem zweiten Material mikroskopisch gekapselt sind derart, daß Flüssigkeit und Feuchtigkeit nicht in Kontakt mit den Pigmenten gelangt.
