Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1987861A1] The marker has elongated segments having a light module (12) arranged on a carrier module (10). The light module has a transparent plastic material, in which photoluminescence pigments e.g. strontium aluminate, dysprosium oxide and europiumoxide, are mixed. The pigments glow in a dark, and are microscopically encapsulated in another material e.g. plastic material, glass or silicate, which is different from the transparent plastic material, such that liquid and moisture do not come in contact with the pigments.
