The press has parallel pressure modules (1, 2) for actuating a guided ram pressure plate, and for clamping of work pieces. Pressure carriages (16a, 16b) which move in opposite directions are connected with one another to a closed system, where the pressure carriages are connected with one another at its ends, which are at a distance from a drive side. An eccentric drive (25) is attached to both the pressure carriages, where the eccentric drive has two extender wheels (26, 27), which are displaced to one another around 180 degrees.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Presse mit mindestens einem Parallel-Druckmodul (1, 2) zur Betätigung einer geführten Stößeldruckplatte bzw. zum Spannen von Werkstücken. Bei einer solchen Presse soll erreicht werden, dass eine mehrfach Parallel-Druckmodul-Anordnung eine große Presskraft verbunden mit einer hohen Anzahl von Presshüben stabil und schwingungsarm überträgt. Um das zu erreichen, sind zwei sich gegenläufig bewegende Druckschlitten (16a, 16b) zu einem geschlossenen System miteinander verbunden.
