Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1987951A2] The printing press has printing units (10-13), and main and gearless drives (19, 20). A drive controller is assigned to each drive. The controller generates a control signal for the respective drives based on the difference between target and actual values. A generating device assigned to the controller generates a rotational vibration compensation variable from a condition variable of a drive controller circuit during operation of the press. The controller is integrated into the circuit, where the compensation variable is effective in the circuit for rotational vibration compensation. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a printing press.
