Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1987999A2] Lining comprises a lining element (105) having a first section (105.1) and a neighboring second section (105.2). The lining element is weakened in a transition region (105.3) between the two sections so that the lining element breaks down in the transition region in the event of a crash. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Component set for the outer lining of a rail vehicle; and (2) Repair method for the lining. Preferred Features: The lining element has a composite structure extending from the first section into the second section. The composite structure has several structural layers (105.4-105.8).
