Die Erfindung beschreibt Maschinenelemente und Bauteile aus Metall als Gleitelemente mit einer Oberfläche aus einer Hartstoffschicht, die korrosionsbeständig, abriebfest ist, gute Gleiteigenschaften aufweist und günstig herstellbar ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Hartstoffschicht (2) eine Glasur aus einem Material amorpher Struktur mit glasartiger Oberfläche (3).
