Abstract (en)

The invention relates to A backflow protection apparatus (1) for an air ventilator (2). The air ventilator (2) comprises a first air inlet (2.1), an air outlet (2.2), and an air channel (2.3) to enable air flow between the first air inlet (2.1) and the air outlet (2.2). The backflow protection apparatus (1) comprises a backflow trap (1.1) having a first edge (1.1.1) and a second edge (1.1.2) and a convex surface between said first edge (1.1.1) and said second edge (1.1.2). The backflow protection apparatus (1) further comprises an installation element (1.2), which comprises a support element (1.2.2) for supporting the backflow trap (1.1) at said first edge (1.1.1).
