Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007098798A1] An injection-moulding apparatus (1) with a feed plate (3) has at least one flow channel (4) with at least one needle valve nozzle which is intended for a flowable material and by virtue of which the flowable material can be fed, with continuation of the flow channel (4), to a separable mould insert. A shut-off needle (20) with a guide bush (30) for conduct and sealing of the shut-off needle (20), which can be brought by means of a drive into an open position and into a closed position, passes through the flow channel (4) at least in sections with capability for longitudinal displacement. For further improvement of the guiding and sealing of the shut-off needle (20), there is, within the guide bush (30), a ring element (60) composed of resilient elastic heat-resistant plastic encompassing and in contact with the shut-off needle (20).
