[origin: WO2007096430A1] On the one hand, the invention relates to a heddle for a weaving machine, comprising a heddle eye part and at least one wire part, wherein at least one extremity of the heddle eye part is provided with a bore extending along the longitudinal axis of the heddle; at least one extremity of the wire part is provided with a part which is reduced in the radial direction which is provided to be inserted into the said bore; the transitional zone between the external circumference of the heddle eye part and the external circumference of the wire part is progressing smoothly. On the other hand, the invention relates to a weaving machine provided with one or more of such heddles and finally a method for manufacturing such a heddle.
