Abstract (en)
[origin: DE102006009621B3] The casement window has a gap (ZR) of more than 16.0 mm between the inner and outer panes and the outsides of the panes (3,4) and the casement element (1) are flush with one another. An adhesive layer (6,7) is placed between the outside of the casement element and the inside of the outer pane and is defined and covered by circumferential edge projections (1b, 1c) on the casement element. Heat insulating material is provided in the interspace between the panes and/or in the casement element and in the frame element (2). The surface (1a) of the casement in the interspace runs inclined or curved to the outside so that the light is deflected inside and/or outside of the interspace. An interchangeable gas-filled cartridge is connected to the interspace through a duct so that gas is automatically supplied and controlled in dependence on the gas pressure in the interspace.
