[origin: WO2007091900A1] The present invention relates to measuring equipment for providing information concerning inflow conditions to a well from fluid-producing zones in a formation, comprising a body which can be lowered through the well to the zones, and where the body comprises sensors (17, 19) for recording the different fluids and velocities of flow and other necessary flow parameters. According to the invention the body comprises sealing devices (15, 21, 27, 30) which are so configured and arranged that during use of the measuring equipment they provide a seal against a well wall (6), with the result that at least one peripheral chamber is formed by the sealing devices (15, 21), the body (12, 13, 20) and the well wall (6), which chamber is arranged to receive fluid flowing out of a relevant zone in the formation and separated from other flows in the well. The body (12, 13, 20) further comprises at least one downstream outlet (14) from the formed chamber out of the body (12, 13, 20) and at least one channel arranged to pass production fluid from upstream of the body to past the body, where said sensors (17, 19) are mounted in the formed chamber in order to record relevant inflowing fluids in the formed chamber. The invention also relates to an application of this measuring equipment.
