Abstract (en)
[origin: DE102006009099A1] The system has a high pressure pump delivering fuel into an accumulator and charged under pressure. An injector is connected with the accumulator, and injects the fuel from the accumulator into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. An injection nozzle is attached to an exhaust gas system, and is connected with the system by an inlet, where a check valve (39) and a dosing valve are provided in the inlet. A pressure regulating valve (41) is arranged between the check valve and the dosing valve, and is connected with the system by an outlet (37). An independent claim is also included for charging fuel in an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine for an injection system.
