Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1989972A1] The furniture has a backrest (3) pivotable by a set of arms (12) that is pivotably supported in a plane of a seat surface of a seat pad (2). A set of auxiliary pads (4) forms a bed surface in connection with the seat pad and the backrest. The seat pad is supported by a set of parallelogram guides (6, 6') in a furniture frame (1). The auxiliary pads are movable from a bed position to the below of the seat pad provided in the seat position. The arms of the backrest are pivotably mounted at an extension (13) of the parallelogram guides.
