Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1990279A2] The method involves deadlock of processes in time duration between starting of removal of a packing product in a strapping cycle and ending of insertion of the packing product in band ends of a band, which is strapped in the strapping cycle. A drive (12) is stopped and a drive shaft (13) is rotated around 360 degree for continuously executing a strapping process without intermediate stopping in a new strapping cycle after finishing a back-clamping of the band around the packing product. Working components with a clamping device are controlled.
