[origin: EP1785377A2] Method involves determination of actual value of web tension on the web path between the drawing roller (12) and a first printing unit and feeding to a control device. The printing press has several vertical printing units, which are stacked on one another in the web path. The control device predetermines the different desired values of the web tension, produced by the feeder plant, during the operation of printing machine, depending on an operating position of one or several printing units following the feeder plant on the web path. Independent claims are included for the following (1) Drawing work; and (2) Roll changer.
