Abstract (en)
The dryer has an air duct (6) conveying flow of air in the direction of a blower (5), where the air duct is formed with a flow chamber (7) including curved sections. The flow chamber deflects the flow of air in the direction of the blower. A displacer (8) is arranged in the flow chamber in front of the blower for producing a non-rotational inflow onto a wheel of the blower and for reducing formation of vortices. The displacer is arranged on an axis of the wheel of the blower, and is presented as an integral component of a wall section (11) of the flow chamber.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wäschetrockner (1) mit einem Luftkanal zur Führung eines Luftstromes in Richtung eines Gebläses (5), wobei der Luftkanal (6) mit mindestens einem in Teilabschnitten gekrümmt ausgebildeten Strömungsraum (7) ausgebildet ist, in dem der Luftstrom eine Umlenkung in Richtung Gebläse (5) erfährt. Um geräuschmindernde Maßnahmen bei einem Wäschetrockner (1) im Bereich von strömungsumlenkenden Kanalabschnitten mit möglichst geringem Montageaufwand zu realisieren, ist in dem Strömungsraum (7) vor dem Gebläse (5) ein Verdrängungskörper (8) zur drallfreien Anströmung des Gebläserads (5) und zur Reduzierung von Wirbelbildungen angeordnet.
