The lock (2) has a transmission unit (24) operated by a lock cylinder, where the transmission unit is provided for manually operating the lock. The transmission unit is effectively connected with a lock bar (12) for moving the lock bar, during operation of the transmission unit. A drive motor (20) is provided for motor-powered operation of the lock, and shifts a plunger block (14) between a locking position and a release position. The lock bar controls the plunger block, and the drive motor is effectively connected with the transmission unit for operating the transmission unit.

Es wird ein Motorschloss mit Mehrpunktverriegelung beschrieben, das sowohl manuell als auch motorbetrieben betätigbar ist. Zur manuellen Betätigung ist ein durch einen Schließzylinder betätigbares Getriebeelement vorgesehen, das mit zumindest einer Riegelstange wirkverbunden ist, um bei Betätigung des Getriebeelements eine Verschiebung der Riegelstange zu bewirken, wodurch zumindest ein über die Riegelstange ansteuerbarer Sperrriegel zwischen einer Verriegelungs- und einer Freigabeposition umstellbar ist. Zur motorbetriebenen Betätigung ist ein Antriebsmotor vorgesehen, durch den der Sperrriegel ebenfalls zwischen der Verriegelungs- und der Freigabeposition umstellbar ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Antriebsmotor zur Betätigung des Getriebeelements mit diesem wirkverbunden.
