Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007098900A1] The invention relates to an assembly and a method for an internal combustion engine which can be operated with a first and a second fuel type, the first fuel type being provided with enough lubricating power for the valve seats of the internal combustion engine. The inventive assembly comprises two fuel circuits which are assigned at least in part to the different fuel types, and at least one electronic control device that controls operation of the internal combustion engine with the first and the second fuel type. Operation of the internal combustion engine is controlled such that the first fuel type is fed to the internal combustion engine during predefined intervals.
