[origin: EP1830331A1] The method involves receiving data of events by a hazard control unit (GMZ) of a hazard detection system (GM), and evaluating the data of the events occurred in the hazard detection system. The data of the events is assigned to an event category according to the evaluation result of the data, and the data in the event category is verified according to a stored rule. The data in the event category is transmitted from the hazard control unit to an auxiliary unit (NRZ) depending on the verification result of the data. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for controlling and transmitting data of events occurred in a hazard detection system to an auxiliary unit (2) a hazard control unit for controlling and transmitting data of events occurred in a hazard detection system.
