Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007101449A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for winding an electrical cable having a cable drum (20), onto which the electrical cable can be wound, and having a bearing body (30), wherein the bearing body has a bearing plate (34), from which a bearing journal (32) protrudes, on which the cable drum is mounted such that it can rotate about an axis of rotation, and wherein at least one slipring (61, 62) and at least one sliding contact (63, 64, 65, 66), which makes contact with said slipring, are arranged between the bearing plate and the cable drum, which slipring and sliding contact are capable of rotating about the axis of rotation in relation to one another and are electrically connected to the electrical cable and a connection cable, respectively. In order to develop the apparatus such that it can be used in high-power high-pressure purification devices without there being the risk of the cable drum overheating, the invention proposes that the bearing plate and the cable drum between them define a contact space, which accommodates the at least one slipring and the at least one sliding contact and is sealed off from spraywater (47, 55, 56, 49, 93) with the aid of a sealing device. In addition, a high-pressure purification device with such an apparatus is proposed.
