[origin: WO2007104699A1] The invention relates to a double-walled container (10) having an inner container (12) which has a cylindrical hollow section (14), wherein the cylindrical hollow section (14) has a substantially smooth circumferential surface. The double-walled container (10) has an outer container (20) which is composed of at least two segments (22, 24). Each segment (22, 24) has an opening which corresponds to the outer cross-sectional face of the cylindrical section (14). A first section of the inner container is inserted through the opening of the first segment (22), which first section comprises the bottom face and a first region of the cylindrical section (14) of the inner container (12). A second section of the inner container (12) is inserted through the opening of the second segment (24) and comprises the ceiling face and a second region of the cylindrical section (14). Adjoining segments (22, 24, 13) are connected to one another at a joining point. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a double-walled container (10).
