Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1995049A2] The press (1) has a press channel (2) with a filling section, a pressing section and an end section. A filling device (4) dumps a press product (10) in the filling section via a filling opening. A plunger axially moved by a power drive compresses the product in the pressing section. A press product bracket (5) is moved between pressing position and end position. The channel has press channel elements, which are detachably connected with each other, such that the elements are separated from each other along a parting plane running in a press channel longitudinal direction.
