[origin: EP1995383A2] The sweeping machine (10) comprises a propelling sweeping roller (42) and a sweeping roller carrier (24), on which two bearing units are arranged, by which the sweeping roller is held in a rotating and moving manner. A support element is attached to one of the bearing units for deflecting the spring force effecting a bearing unit to the sweeping roller carrier.
