A work platform unit (1) comprising, a bottom frame (2) carrying wheels, side supports (12,13) that end at the bottom frame (2), a platform (20) carried by the side supports (12,13), the platform (20) being height adjustable, a safety rail (21) for the platform (20), a drive (10,90,58) to allow the work platform unit (1) to be driven by a user, wherein the drive is a manual drive, a steering mechanism (67,69) to enable the user to control the direction the work platform unit (1) is driven and wherein the work platform unit (1) is foldable.
