[origin: EP1995397A1] The smooth wall silo has several cells (1) with wall elements (2), whereby a cell has several wall elements joined by corner joint plates (3, 4) in their corner regions to form a node column and each wall element has a vertical wall support (5) on one end in the installed position. Both wall supports of a pair of supports of a wall element are connected over their height by several cross-struts (6) arranged one above the other and at a distance apart. An independent claim is also included for a cell of a smooth wall silo.
