Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1995414A1] The device (100) has a braking unit (110) integrated to a rim (63'B) and provided with a cutting element (110A) presented under the form of a blade. Another braking unit (120) is integrated to a stator downstream of the rim, and has a ring shaped element (120A) made of a material to be cut. The braking units contact by axial displacement of a rotor after rupture of the rotor, where the cutting element of the braking unit cuts the ring shaped element. The ring shaped element is brought on a flange (120B) mounted on the stator.
