Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1995747A2] The tube (4) has an arc-formation chamber (11) including a deviation section (51) provided between a reinforced magnetic induction section (31) and an arc-control chamber (21). The section (31) has permanent magnet parts that generate a magnetic field in a median longitudinal plane (10) to drive an electric arc. The parts have magnetized fractions (32, 33) arranged behind inserts (12, 13) that are made of ceramic and gasogene organic material, respectively. The section (51) has permanent magnet parts (52) that generate a reduced magnetic field for deviating the arc with respect to the plane.
