[origin: WO2007107422A1] A device and a method are described for mounting a turbomachine, in particular a gas turbine arrangement, in which a rotor unit is rotatably mounted inside a stationary outer casing, comprising at least two supports, arranged at a distance from one another in the axial longitudinal extent relative to the outer casing, for absorbing the weight of the turbomachine, said supports being linked indirectly or directly to the outer casing on the one hand and being supported indirectly or directly on a base frame on the other hand. The invention is distinguished by the fact that at least one support provides at least one supporting surface which is supported only in sections on at least two supporting plate elements, and that the at least one supporting surface of the support interacts with the base frame via the supporting plate elements.
