Abstract (en)

The melting crucible comprises an overflow pipe, which is connected to the dosing chamber by a connection opening (9a) on a level below of the maximum level (MF) of the dosing chamber (2). The overflow pipe is also connected to a melt chamber (3) by an overflow opening (9d) on the maximum level of the dosing chamber and crucible container (1). An upper cover (8) is also provided, which has an open lower end in the melt chamber including downward extending inverting pipe (13), which surrounds an overflow area of the overflow pipe.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Schmelzentiegel für eine Gießmaschine, der einen Tiegelbehälter (1), in dem eine Dosierkammer (2) und eine Schmelzekammer (3) ausgebildet sind, und ein Schmelzeüberlaufmittel (9) aufweist, das über einen vorgebbaren Maximalfüllstand (MF) in der Dosierkammer ansteigende Schmelze in die Schmelzekammer zurückleitet. Erfindungsgemäß beinhaltet das Schmelzeüberlaufmittel ein mit der Dosierkammer kommunizierendes Überlaufrohr (9), das mit einer Anschlussöffnung (9a) mit der Dosierkammer auf einem Niveau unterhalb des Maximalfüllstands in Verbindung steht und mit einer Überlauföffnung (9d) in der Schmelzekammer auf dem Niveau des Maximalfüllstands der Dosierkammer ausmündet. Verwendung z.B. in Warmkammer-Druckgießmaschinen für Magnesiumdruckguss.
