Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1997755A1] The method involves making a de-rinded sleeve (2) free from a stationary storage during the entire unwinding process by applying a tangential force, in an area of an outer circumference (26) of the sleeve of a driving unit (5), opposite to the rolling up direction in rotating motion. An unwound material web (3) is led away by a guiding force from sleeve. The sleeve has a winding start opening (15) in the de-rinding device. An independent claim is also included for device for de-rinding a sleeve from a sleeve reel, particularly de-rinding device.
