[origin: EP1997981A2] The cylinder has pin tumblers (5, 5') comprising holes (11, 11') that are arranged at a core and comprising respective blocks (13, 13') for supporting core pins (9, 9'). The core pins have sections, which are projected above the block in a direction of a locking channel (6). The core pins include sections that are projected above shoulders (14, 14') of the pins and extending into the locking channel in a different manner. Dimensions of the sections vary on both sides of shoulders with the sections.
