[origin: EP1998034A2] The cylinder head cover (4) has a bearing upper part (3) that has a through hole (5) for a cam shaft (2), which aligns on a side with a through opening (5a) in a bearing lower part (6) or a through opening (5b) in the cylinder crank case (14) and on the other side with a through opening (5c) in the cylinder head cover. The bracket lower part is made of thermosetting plastic. An independent claim is also included for an internal-combustion engine with cylinder head cover.
