Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1998054A2] The cylinder (1) has an end position damping arrangement with a stroke space (9) that is delimited by a movable stroke element (7). The space is connected via a connecting duct (14) by working pressure (P1) or by ventilation pressure. The element is pressurized by a damping pressure (P2) via a damping duct (16) that includes a non-return valve (12) in the connecting duct upstream of the space. The valve blocks in direction of the working or ventilation pressure and includes a ventilation duct (5). The ventilation duct is opened by the element and is connected to the outlet duct. An independent claim is also included for a method for self-adjusting end position damping of a cylinder position.
