Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1998112A2] The burner (1) has a core air pipe (2) and a gas pipe (6) coaxially arranged around the core air pipe under formation of a ring shaped gas flow cross section (5). A pipe element (8) is arranged around the gas pipe under formation of a secondary air flow cross section (7), and a swirl body (9) is arranged in the gas flow cross section. The swirl body is adjustable for adjusting a speed tangential component, and is designed as a swirl blade. A flow guide ring (11) is arranged at the gas pipe, and consists of a heat-resistant sheet, ceramic material and cast metal i.e. centrifugal casting metal.
