Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008113961A1] The invention relates to a self-deploying game device intended to receive an object, such as a ball. The invention includes a structure comprising arch frames consisting of a base hoop having a front part in a horizontal plane and a rear part and a cavity-forming hoop having a rear part in a horizontal plane and a front part in a plane forming a non-zero angle with the horizontal plane. The invention also includes a flexible structure comprising a first taut part inside the cavity-forming hoop and a second taut part inside the rear part of the cavity-forming hoop. In the deployed position, the front part of the base hoop rests on the ground, while the tension in the flexible structure is such that the base hoop, the cavity-forming hoop, the flexible structure and the ground define a volume that can receive the ball, the inlet of which is defined by the front part of the cavity-forming hoop.
