[origin: US8533932B2] A device (1) for assembling panels using riveting which includes a riveting system (6) together with a drilling system (4). According to the invention, the device includes components for setting the riveting head (38) in motion relative to a carriage (34) of the riveting system, where these components are designed to be capable of moving this riveting head (38) between an at-rest position in which the drilling head axis and the riveting head axis (16, 40) are distinct, and a working position in which the same axes (16, 40) coincide.
