Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007104713A1] Aqueous polymer dispersions whose dispersed particles comprise at least one effect substance from the group of UV absorbers, antistats, antioxidants and antifogging agents, have a mean particle size of at most 500 nm and a glass transition temperature of at least 85°C and which are obtainable by emulsion polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers in the presence of at least one effect substance and the use of the polymer dispersions comprising effect substances or of the polymer powders obtained therefrom for modifying and for stabilizing polymers, especially for stabilizing thermoplastic polymers against the action of UV radiation.
