[origin: WO2007110272A1] The invention relates to a compressor unit (1) comprising a motor (2) and a compressor (3), the motor (2) having a motor rotor (15) and the compressor (3) having a compressor rotor (9), which rotate as a common rotor (19) about a common rotational axis (60). The compressor unit (1) has a housing (4), equipped with support elements (69) that give support at bearing points (84), which are used to mount the compressor unit (1) in the operating position. The aim of the invention is to obtain a good response in the event of vibration. To achieve this, at least three of the bearing points (84), together with the centre of gravity (68) of the rotor (19) lie essentially on one plane. The decisive advantage of the support of the compressor unit (1) is that the vibration amplitudes in the vicinity of the centre of gravity (68) or rotational centre of gravity of the rotor are lower in relation to the remaining regions of the machine and that the damping action is particularly efficient at this point in the moving system.
