Abstract (en)
The roller includes longitudinal profiles of e.g. metal angle section, welded to the inside of its casing (1), to form channels for thermal fluid. Adjacent sidewalls of the profiles meet at welded seams. The angle of sidewall inclination is less than 90[deg] , so that moving out from the seam, they diverge away from each other. The side walls formed by the angle section, are straight. The profiles are angle profiles, especially L- or V-profiles. An angle beta , of 0[deg] to 90[deg] , is included by the end of the profile and the internal casing wall, facilitating welded connection.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Walzenkörper für die Behandlung bahnförmigen Materials, umfassend a) einen Mantel (1) b) und an einer inneren Umfangsfläche des Mantels (1) um eine Rotationsachse (R) des Walzenkörpers verteilt angeordnete Profile (P; P a , P b ), die mit dem Mantel (1) zumindest im wesentlichen axial erstreckte Kanäle (10a, 10b) für ein Temperierfluid bilden, c) wobei der Mantel (1) jeweils eine Außenwand und die Profile (P; P a , P b ) Seitenwände (11, 12) der Kanäle (10a, 10b) bilden d) und wobei die Seitenwände (11, 12) jeweils mittels einer durch Stoffschluss erzeugten Verbindungsnaht (13; 14) mit dem Mantel (1) verbunden sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass e) die Seitenwände (11, 12) von nächstbenachbarten Profilen (P; P a , P b ) bis in die Verbindungsnaht (13) zu dem Mantel (1) im Querschnitt eine Neigung von weniger als 90° aufweisen, so dass sie von der Verbindungsnaht (13; 14) aus voneinander weg weisen.
