[origin: WO2007115548A1] The invention relates to a headset for fitting of an earpiece which has: a closure housing (2) in or on which a fixing device is provided, an inflexible and elastic fitting bracket (3) which forms a loop (9) for holding an outer ear (4) of a user, with one end of the fitting bracket (3) being longitudinally movable in the fixing device for the closure housing (2), and being held adjustably in the various longitudinal positions, forming a fixing effect, in order to adjust the size of the loop (9), a control device (12) for receiving and outputting electrical signals, an earpiece (10, 26) for receiving the electrical signal from the control device (12) and for transmitting soundwaves, and a signal interface (8, 18) for receiving and/or outputting electrical signals to and/or from the control device (12).
